Kevin C. is the owner and lead instructor of Gunnery Concepts, bringing over a decade of experience in firearms training and instruction. His passion for firearms began at the age of 16 and has since evolved into a career dedicated to helping others develop safe, effective, and confident firearms skills.

At 18, Kevin enlisted in the U.S. Army as a parachute infantryman, where he gained valuable experience operating in disciplined, high-pressure environments. Following his military service, he continued his commitment to public safety as a law enforcement officer in Minnesota. Since 2017, he has been providing firearms training throughout the Minneapolis–St. Paul metropolitan area.

With more than 3,000 hours of instructional experience and over 500 students trained, Kevin has earned a reputation for delivering practical, adaptable, and results-driven instruction. He is known for meeting students where they are in their firearms journey, whether they are first-time gun owners building foundational skills or experienced shooters seeking to refine their performance.

To maintain and advance his own capabilities, Kevin actively competes in practical shooting sports and pursues ongoing professional development through advanced training. His commitment to continuous improvement allows him to bring current, proven techniques to every class while consistently holding himself to standards that exceed those expected in law enforcement and the defensive firearms community.

Kevin is also uniquely recognized as the only purse carry instructor for Cakes Concealed Carry in Minnesota, further demonstrating his commitment to specialized and practical self-defense training.
