Pistol Gunnery 301
Course Summary:
This one-day course is designed for shooters who have completed Pistol Gunnery 201 (or equivalent experience) and are ready to advance steadily into the performance based shooting styles.
Building on the foundation established in 201, this course focuses on increasing efficiency and performance, including:
Reinforcing efficient draw stroke and weapon handling
Shooting at speed and understanding sight confirmation levels at various distances
Multiple target engagement and transitions
Practical movement and maneuvers.
This course is designed to help shooters shoot faster and more accurately on demand. Students will learn how to diagnose their own performance, improve control, and build repeatable skills that continue to improve long after the class ends.
Course Expectations:
Students must demonstrate muzzle awareness, trigger finger awareness, and safety selector awareness at all times. Students must also have the ability to safely draw from a holster, conduct reloads, and clear malfunctions on their own with no supervision.
